My name is Maggie Ventura; I’m passionate about helping others coordinate house paint color palettes that create a sense of comfort and connection throughout the home.

Since 2017, I’ve worked with hundreds of clients to design custom color palettes for interior and exterior house painting projects. My mission is to help others make paint color decisions inspired by their personal taste while coordinating with the existing fixtures, lighting, and architecture.

Color has such a huge influence on how we feel and preferences cab be deeply personal. I’ve developed a process for identifying my clients unique Color Comfort Zone to guide people to their perfect paint colors. This process involves:

  • Utilizing Color theory

  • Asking thoughtful questions

  • Active listening

  • Reading verbal and nonverbal cues

  • Understanding of house paint & colors trends

  • Observation and knowledge of lighting

I truly believe that my work has a positive impact on my clients daily lives; the right paint colors help improve how people feel in their homes.

  • 1) Free Welcome Call

    • 15 min. Introductory phone call.

    • Discuss your project details.

    • Share ideas I may have on your project.

    • Review the services I offer to determine how I can be most supportive for your project.

    • If it’s a good fit, we will schedule a time to meet in-person for a paint color consultation

    2) In home paint color consultation (Interior or Exterior)

    • One or two hour long in-home paint color consultation.

    • Tour the spaces being painted as well as any surrounding areas that we need to consider when coordinating colors.

    • Discuss personal preferences and problem areas.

    • Review paper samples in the spaces being painted.

    • Determine the best paint colors for you and your home.

    3) After the consultation you will receive:

    • Paper samples of each color.

    • Clearly documented color notes.

    • Follow up call or email to address color adjustments. (Optional)

  • Through hundreds of paint color consultations, I’ve created a process that makes selecting paint colors fun & easy for everyone! I’ve developed a variety of consultation approaches that allow me to meet my clients where they’re at - from someone who knows what they want and just needs an outside, expert opinion, to the person who is starting from square one and needs a consultant who can take the lead guiding them to their perfect paint colors.

    My clients feel confident in my paint color recommendations because I ask many questions and take the time to understand what is most important to them, while also giving my objective opinion on what coordinates best with the lighting and fixtures of the home. After just one or two hours, we create a custom color palette that helps people move from feeling overwhelmed with decision fatigue to excited to get to live in their new color scheme.

  • Colors influence how we feel.

    Most people have had the experience of being in a room that feels too dark and heavy, no matter what time of day it is; or walking into a glowing, bright white space, feeling cold and sterile. Some of these color preferences tend to be more universally shared, while others are more personal and develop throughout our life experiences. This is what I describe as my clients Color Comfort Zone.

    I help my clients define their Color Comfort Zone by:

    • Referencing existing paint colors

    • Asking a million questions

    • Reading verbal and non-verbal cues

    • Observing what colors currently exist within their furniture, artwork, and sometimes even clothes

    My mission as a paint color consultant is to identify what colors my clients gravitate towards and to help them gain a deeper understanding of their own personal color preferences so they can use color to improve how their home feels.

  • I work using Sherwin-Williams paint color samples. I bring the following color tools with me to use during in-home paint color consultations:

    • 4×4 in. Paper samples of every color on the color wall

    • 8×11 in. Paper samples in the following collections:
